Description and Curriculum: The Family Sundays program equips families with tools and resources to build Households of Faith. Families expand their knowledge of Scripture and Catholic tradition, join in prayer, and participate in faith-based activities in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. There are three components:
Students: Finding God, Loyola Press
Children learn the basics of the faith with the Finding God workbook at home with their parents. As they conclude each chapter, they complete a simple review online that the parish tracks. At the end of each unit, children meet for discussion and activities to review and reinforce what they have learned and are rewarded with a fun game online!
Parents: The Catholic Parent, Augustine Institute and Catholic Sprouts on Formed
Adults view a Catholic Parenting video with facilitated discussion while the children are in their unit review class.
Families:
Families gather to learn about our faith with prayer, presentations, activities, discussion and service. Ideas and materials are shared to do at home to enhance Catholic Family Faith Life.
Volunteers: We need catechists to facilitate the six review sessions with the students. Materials provided. Help is also needed for set-up, take-down and general organization.
This is a new program, so we would love to hear your ideas!!

MASS ATTENDANCE
Regular Sunday Mass attendance is an essential part of being Catholic and thus is expected of our Child Ministry families. Parish Mass Times are:
St Eugene: Sat 4:30 PM; Sun 8:30 & 11:00 AM
St Monica: Sat 5:00 PM; Sun 8:00 & 10:15 AM
Visit the Archdiocese website for Mass times throughout the area.
Visit Masstimes.org for times throughout the country.
SAFEGUARDING ALL GOD'S FAMILY
St. Eugene and St. Monica Parishes are committed to providing a safe environment for all. In compliance with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, all volunteers over the age of 18 MUST attend a (free, one-time) Safe Environment Education Session, pass a criminal background check and read and sign the Code of Ethical Standards for Church Leaders. In addition, it is our goal to have ALL parents attend this class to increase awareness and safety. This would also qualify parents to chaperone field trips, work on service projects or assist in classrooms. To register for a class, please go to https://milwaukee.cmgconnect.org/.
TUITION
Registration - $275 per student with a maximum of $825 per parish family (3 or more students). $375 per student for Non-Parish Families.
** Catechists receive free tuition for all children in their family! No need to fill out the payment form. Jeanette Lambrecht will approve this.
Please do not let the inability to pay prevent you from participating. Payment plans are available on the online payment form. Email religiouseducation@stme.church with requests.
When you complete your registration, there is a link to the payment page.
Both the registration and payment pages MUST be completed for your child’s enrollment to be accepted. Thank you!
