Stewardship Renewal - Committed to Christ
Renewal begins October 25th.
All 1148 parish households are invited to participate. Committed to Christ offers a road map, a series of paths, a journey towards holy living and mature discipleship. It offers a vision of six expectations the Lord has of his disciples: prayer, scripture, Mass attendance, evangelization, giving and service. Such a vision can have powerful implications and great things can happen when a congregation or an individual has a sense of God's direction, purpose, and vision.
You are invited to grow, reflect, and commit to a mature discipleship. Each week you will be asked to return a commitment card to help you plan that growth. Household packets are available in the Narthex and boxes for K4 - 2nd graders which include activities for the six steps and commitment cards to return.
Are you ready to move forward in your discipleship?
Do you have a clear vision of what the Lord expects of his faithful followers?
Gospel of Matthew 22:34-40 Love the Lord, your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind. And love your neighbor as yourself. Fr. Jerry speculates whether we do a much better job of loving our neighbor than loving God. Loving God requires us to have an active and communicative relationship with our Lord and that happens through prayer.
