This year we are making some significant changes in how we make our decisions about how to allocate ourgrants to non-profit organizations. We are making these changes for two reasons:

1. We want to be as fair as possible to all organizations requesting funds.
2. We want to provide as much information as possible to our parishioners about how the money is being spent.

Please use the forms below to apply for a grant. The deadline is April 1, 2012.

Human Concerns Overview

The Human Concerns Committee develops, oversees, and evaluates all parish ministries of justice, advocacy, outreach, and service. The sub-committees of Pastoral Care and Parish Life are also the responsibility of the Human Concerns Committee.

Below is a list of each group functioning within the committee:

  • Pastoral Care sub-committee: develops, oversees, and evaluates all parish ministries that bring pastoral service to those in need, including ministries to the homebound, hospitalized, and those in crisis situations.
  • Parish Life sub-committee: serves to assist the parish in a variety of ways regarding hospitality, funeral receptions, and social groups like Sheepshead.
