Volunteers Needed for Shoreline Interfaith
Here is a good opportunity to get involved in your own North Shore neighborhood by helping older adults remain in their own homes. Shoreline Interfaith is a community based non-profit organization that helps their clients with rides to their medical appointments, assistance with grocery shopping and other services. The experience of helping your elderly neighbor can build a lasting relationship between you and our clients. We need your help as a driver now, as the client base continues to outpace the volunteer available! You could volunteer once a month or once a week – the amount of time you give is completely up to you, with flexible days (to include weekends for those still in the workforce), duties and hours (some night opportunities available). Some initial paperwork is involved along with a short orientation and training session.
